Two of my final designs from a collection of lazer cut woods I prepared. I was inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement.

The event was charitable, and my role was to help the presenter (Jojo from Galaxy Radio Station) change into her outfits and make sure she was prepared for the next section.

MAC cosmetics did the models makeup, and the designers were mostly Leeds based.

I am an assistant for the Leeds Fashion Show this year, and thought it would be a nice idea to record my journey. These photos are from one of the many practices.

A holiday in Florence overwhelms me with the art, design, fashion, food and architecture. All of it has been designed beautifully, and the landscapes really inspire me to produce the same aesthetic.

Just to shake things up a little, I visited the Saatchi Gallery, Sloane Square, London. The paintings were interesting as they were textural and included close attention to line, which has reminded me to always keep a close eye on composition.

It is an ambition of mine to visit all of the National Trust Country Houses in the UK. I particularly like these large estates as the interiors hold an infinite number of objects, all of which possess a story and meaning; even the grand portraits of Countesses and Lords have a story line.

I would have loved to be able to take part in one Channel 4's 'below stairs' documentaries, and I enjoy watching any kind of period drama and film: essentially anything where the set and costumes are large features. The most lavish film I have seen with my above preferences is possibly 'Marie Antoinette' starring Kirstin Dunst; every detail has been scrutinized in this film; from the type of cutlery, champagne glasses, china, to quality of makeup.
